Project 12 Baskets offers an opportunity for donors to make gifts through other means than cash. The name comes from Jesus' feeding of the 5000 when after everyone had their fill, 12 baskets of leftovers were gathered. For many our basements, attics, and closets contain items that may have a value to others but for us are some of the "leftovers" of God's blessings. Project 12 Baskets is a way to benefit Valley Lutheran through the sale of those "leftovers."
Project 12 Baskets is an Internet based program where donated items are placed in an on-line auction with the proceeds coming to Valley Lutheran High School. You can find out more by going to www.project12baskets.com or contacting John Brandt (989-790-1676).
