Attention Students:

  • All Boys Basketball Players Intending On Playing Summer Basketball!! FINAL CALL TO TURN IN YOUR SIGN UP SHEETS AND MONEY TODAY, JUNE 4TH!!
  • Summer Read: More information next week. Choice based on graduating class.
  • Any student intending to take a Dual Enrollment course next year MUST have all paperwork completed and on file before leaving for summer break. See Mrs. Mueller with questions.
  • Seniors - you will need to request your final transcript to be sent out after graduation to the school you will be attending. Directions for requesting those can be found on the Google Classroom page or in the Parent Newsletter. See Mrs. Mueller with questions.
  • Golden Voice auditions will be held today, June 4th after exams for anyone interested. You did not have to be in Mixed Chorus to audition for Golden Voice. Sign up sheets are outside the music room door. You only need to prepare a song that shows your best singing voice. See Mr. Eschmann if you have any questions or need an alternate time.
  • AP History Students please see Mr. Wittig for your Summer Homework and the Google Classroom Code.
  • Sports Physicals are being offered on Aug. 1st from 4:30-6pm. The cost is $13 payable to Dr. James LaFleur. This exam will meet the requirement of every participating athlete's obligation to have a physical exam, if he or she intends to try out for and/or make one of Valley's sports teams for the 2018-19 school year.
  • This summer at Zauel Library, join PT Barnum’s group of traveling players June 18-22 in a fun-filled production of Bigger than Life! Tall tales, folktales, talking tales, noodles, whoppers, windies, stretchers -- everyone has a different name for these stories. Whatever you call them, America’s legends come to life in this lively, delightful award-winning play that will appeal to all ages. Basic drama skills, including projecting, acting, and blocking will be covered. A script will be provided to each participant. If you are interested in any facet of theater, from on-stage to behind-the-scenes, this is the camp for you! At the end of the week, participants will host and perform their show for Zauel’s Preschool Storytime group. Interested students in 6th through 12th grades must register by Tuesday, June 12. Space is limited, so please register early in person or by calling Zauel Library at 989-799-2771, or online at www.saginawlibrary.org.
  • Do you know a high school girl who is curious about technology? Camp Infinity is a one-week summer technology camp for girls entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2018. Camp Infinity introduces girls to computer and internet technologies through hands-on activities. Girls will study website development using HTML, and mobile app design concepts. In addition, students will participate in mini-sessions that highlight programming skills and real world uses of technology. Girls will also get an opportunity to meet with women who work in technological fields and explore career options in technology. For more information, please visit the camp registration page.   • Community Village is looking for volunteers to assist with their Strawberry Festival on June 19. They need people to run games, take tickets, supervise the bounce house, etc. The time frame is from 3 - 8:30 pm and includes a free dinner. This amazing camp is coming back to Michigan this summer and St. Lorenz Christian Citizenship Ministries is offering financial assistance for LCMS high school students who wish to attend. There will be 16 high school students, ages 15-18, along with two teachers, who are very eager to learn about our American ways. We believe this will be a wonderful opportunity to cultivate international friendship and learning from each other.
