Virtual Chapel – 3/17/20

Welcome to another opportunity to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

STEP 1 – Read the Bible passage below.

Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

Matthew 8:23-27

STEP 2 – Watch Max Lucado speak on “Why are you afraid?”

STEP 3 – “Be Still” by Hillsong

STEP 4 – Say the prayer below.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for watching over us each day.
During this time of uncertainty, we would ask that you would remind us of how powerful you are and that you are holding us in the palm of your hand.
As we go about our new routines, help us to see others and what they need so that we can assist them.
Keep us ever close to you.
Please bless our VLHS families with health and safety.
Thank you for providing all that we need, most especially your son, Jesus who paid the price for our sin. Amen.

Blessings on your day!
