Chapel – 3/24/20

Good Morning, Chargers! Welcome to another opportunity to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Enjoy this chapel from our guidance counselor, Mrs. Mueller.

In The Eye Of The Storm

STEP 1: Read Psalm 121.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

STEP 2: Watch the story behind today’s song.

STEP 3: Take heart in the lyrics of this song – In The Eye Of The Storm

STEP 4: Pray – Father, help us to lift our eyes to you. Lord, this world can seem out of control. It is scary and unpredictable. Remind us that You remain in control of everything that is going on. You guard our souls from the attacks of the devil when we doubt or put our trust in the things of this world. You are our anchor, our safety and security when the waves feel too big. Your love surrounds us. Help us to put our trust in you. In Your Name, Amen.
