Attention Students:

  • Please go straight to the Gym for Chapel, and bring your bible.
  • There will be a Boys Golf meeting today from 3:15-3:30pm, in the Family Room.
  • Attention Baseball Players: If you showed interest in playing baseball during our short meeting last November, you should be receiving a text message asking you to sign up for an app called the Band. Please respond to the text, if you haven’t already, so you can receive important information. If you’re considering playing this spring and did NOT previously sign up, text Coach Hofmeister if you have any questions–989-225-7385.
  • This Spring, Valley is working on getting a Trap/Clay Shooting Team put together. If you have an interest in participating, talk to Mrs. Blake by next Tuesday the 16th. Space is limited, but all who are interested are encouraged to stop by Room 203.
  • Student Managers Needed: Any Valley student interested in serving as a baseball student manager is asked to contact Coach Hofmeister at 989-225-7385 for more information. We need YOU!! This position could be for the JV or Varsity levels.
  • Attention Seniors: The Bill Young Memorial Scholarship, administered by Great Lakes Bay Region Lutheran Bowling offers a $750 scholarship to a graduating senior from VLHS or MLS, with membership in a Lutheran Church, a minimum 2.5 GPA, Community involvement, and showing financial need in an essay. Applications are available in the office!
  • The Sophomore class is having a fundraiser at Panda Express on March 25 from 3-9:00pm.

Attention Parents:

  • At the Scheduling Assembly on Friday, March 5, your student(s) received a Re-Enrollment Form for 2021-2022, along with their class selections. Please complete the front side of the form, and return with the $100 enrollment fee by Friday, March 19th.
  • Let Chipoltle make your dinner on Wednesday, March 24th, and help support VLHS Parent Group! There are flyers in the office, or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause to make sure that 33% of the proceeds will be donated. Online code is NY9CWDE, before checkout in “promo” field.

  • St. Lorenz is holding a SPRING fish fry on Friday, April 16th, from 4-7pm. Cost is $12, per person and includes: fish (hand battered cod), parsley potatoes, coleslaw, tartar sauce, bread & choice of apple or cherry pie. Please enter through the WEC parking lot off W. Genesee and circle around to the backside of the school (by the gym). You will be directed into 2 lines for the take outs so it should go quick. This is a cash only and pick up only event.
