Attention Students:

  • Reminder: NO LATE START TOMORROW, CLASSES BEGIN AT 8am
  • Golden Voice auditions will be held today & tomorrow, June 3rd and 4th. You did not have to be in Mixed Chorus to audition. Sign up sheets are outside the music room door and tryout information is available on the music stand by the door. See Mr. Eschmann if you have any questions or need an alternate time. With a smaller group this year, there are more spots to fill!
  • If you have medications in the office, please pick up before summer break.
  • All students need to take the SRI Reading Test by end of year!
  • AP English Students – Please pick up the summer homework.
  • Next year AP Art – meet today after school in the Art Room.
  • Boys basketball players, we are in great need of players for the Y League in Bay City. Please turn in your sheet to Coach Erdman’s office ASAP, or contact Coach Smith with your intentions to play.
  • Students – please take your stuff out of PE lockers ASAP, as they will soon be demolished.
  • A.P. U.S. History students please pick up your summer homework from Mr. Wittig.
  • Freshmen – PE credit waivers are due TODAY.

  • What are your summer plans? Attending a camp? Working a summer job? Going on an interesting trip or mission trip? The communication people at Valley would love to hear about it – we’re looking for students to possibly feature on our Instagram and Facebook over the summer.   • If you have any sports uniforms or outstanding books, please return them before June 6th to avoid any fees.

  • The Loons organization has donated lawn tickets for this year’s games. If you would like some, please come into the office.
  • Join us as we close the 2018-19 academic year and begin summer break in prayer! Prayer Walk – We invite you to come to Valley and help cover our campus in prayer on June 6th from 6:30-7:30 PM. We will focus on the building expansion and builders/workers who are making the hopes/plans into reality. We will begin and end in the cafeteria.   • Camp Restore Detroit is in need of assistance in VBS, sports camp, construction and urban blight clean-up June 23-June 29th. CRD’s mission is to demonstrate Christian Hope while working together to restore the Detroit Community. Campers can commute, or stay overnight in dormitory-like rooms with a chaperone.   • 4-H Spartan Coding Camp is a 5-day residential camp that brings high-school aged youth to the campus of MSU to develop valuable coding skills through hands-on learning. 4-H Spartan Coding Camp: July 7-11, 2019. Explore the exciting field of computer coding at MSU Extension’s newest premier pre-college program! Whether you have prior computer coding knowledge, or have never even thought about it, you will gain valuable coding skills at this fun STEM summer camp.
