We are so excited to once again invite you to Homecoming at Valley Lutheran!  This year’s celebration will be September 20-25, 2021.  The theme for the week is “Entertainment through the Decades.”

Students will enjoy a variety of dress-up days throughout the week.  On Wednesday students will serve through-out the community as part of Valley’s bi-annual Service Days.  No classes will be held on Wednesday.

On Monday night (Sept. 20) the boys varsity soccer team will host Standish-Sterling High School in their homecoming match at 7 p.m. under the lights on the football field.

Wednesday night (September 22, 7 p.m.) will feature the varsity volleyball team in their homecoming match against Michigan Lutheran Seminary.

Friday’s (Sept. 24) school day will conclude with the Homecoming Pep Rally. The Grand Tailgate then begins at 4:45 p.m.  We invite everyone to come tailgate – there will be a ‘Valley’ tent where anyone is welcome to enjoy food and fellowship.  All tailgaters are invited to enjoy the Homecoming Parade complete with class floats and the presentation of the Homecoming Court starting at 5:45 p.m.  Football kick-off is at 7 p.m. versus St. Louis High School with the crowning of Homecoming King and Queen at halftime.

Homecoming festivities conclude on Saturday evening (Sept. 25) with the Homecoming Dance beginning at 8 p.m. in the school gym.

We’re looking forward to a full and exciting week celebrating together!  Go Chargers!
