The Valley Lutheran High School Parent Organization supports the school’s academic and general programs. In recent years, the group has supported numerous technology improvements, purchased new classroom desks, played important roles in the remodeling of the chemistry and biology labs, and purchased Lexia literacy testing software, a TI-Navigator system, and new chairs for the cafeteria. The group also underwrites professional memberships for the faculty and host an annual faculty appreciation event. In addition, Parent Organization members encourage students by supporting the National Honor Society and sponsoring the annual Literary Contest.
The Parent Organization hosts several major events annually to earn the money to meet their goals, including the Mum Sale (September), the Fall Bazaar and Luncheon (November), and the Saginaw County Antique Society Show and Luncheon (March/April).
