Attention Students:

• Valley Lutheran is hosting an SAT test prep seminar on Saturday, March 9 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Juniors should have received a mailing with details. To register, go to www.doorwaytocollege.com or call 877-927-8378.
• The SCC Open House has been rescheduled for February 27th from 5-7pm. Any student interested in attending SCC as a junior or senior should plan to attend.
• Auditions for the spring play will be held on Monday, February Feb. 25, & Tuesday, Feb. 26th, from 3:30-5:45pm in Miss Weilnau’s room. Please see Miss Weilnau if you have any questions.
  Covenant HealthCare Volunteer Services is now accepting applications for the Summer 2019 session of their High School Volunteer Program. Students must be 16 or older with a 3.0 or higher GPA. Students may apply online at www.covenanthealthcare.com.
• REMINDER: Bring in all auction donations and you will receive a coupon for a prize. Prizes are available on Fridays in February before school. All donations, especially gift cards, are appreciated.
• Delta College’s Dual Enrollment program offers an early enrollment opportunity for next school year that closes this Friday. This early enrollment gives Dual Enrollment students priority registration. If you are certain you would like to take a course through Delta College next year, see Mrs. Mueller by Thursday. If you are still deciding, there will be opportunities later in the spring to register for Delta College courses next year.
• Camp Concordia, just 40 minutes northeast of Grand Rapids, offers summer overnight camp sessions, available for students heading into grades 1-12 in fall 2019. The early registration discount is available until April 1. Also check out opportunities for families. See Summer Camps 2019

• VL’s “Fabulous 50’s” Auction:
  We are thankful that tickets are SOLD OUT for this event!
  The 8th hour teachers are gathering donations for gift baskets. In addition, all donations (such as from your business or a new item) are welcome, as well as gift cards in any amount. Your child will receive a reward coupon for any donations brought in by Friday, February 22nd. • Valley Lutheran High School is looking for a head Golf coach for this spring (and hopefully beyond.) • Scholarships are available for CyberMath Academy’s summer camps. Interested students can sign up for consideration here. Scholarship amount varies depending on the student’s achievements and/or need and availability of funds. Our camps are open to students in grades 4-12. Application deadline for scholarships is March 24, 2019. Two locations in July 2019: Harvard Law School, Cambridge, MA and Stanford University, Stanford, CA. Learn from the graduates and students of Harvard and Stanford and similar universities and experienced coaches; attend guest lectures by researchers at these top institutions; join campus tours and admission sessions; and get a taste of most recent cutting edge scientific research.
