Attention Students:

  • Remember to get your re-registration to your parents for their signatures, and back to the office as soon as possible.
  • Seniors who plan to enlist in military service after high school – please email or talk with Mrs. Mueller by Friday to let her know your plans. Those who complete this step will be invited to a special luncheon in April.
  • Key Club’s shoe drive with “Funds2orgs” continues thru March 15th. (No single shoes, no holes, no rollerblades, no ice skates). Talk to Mr. Wittig or Key club if you have questions.
  • Pom tryouts will be held on March 24 and 26, 4-6pm (location TBD). Mandatory Parent meeting March 23, 5:30pm in VLHS cafeteria. We’re looking for 8-11th graders who are attending Valley next year. No experience needed!
  • The application deadlines for the Dow SSEC Summer Research Programs are fast approaching. High school students currently in grades 9th – 11th are encouraged to apply for this incredible paid opportunity, held at SVSU during the summer term: June 29 – August 6, 2020. Students interested must complete the online application form and submit their cover letter and resume by March 27, 2020. Information sheets are available in the office.
  • Driver’s Training Segment 2 runs March 17-28-29th, from 3:45-5:45pm. Segment 1 starts April 16th, 3:45-5:45pm. Contact Mr. R’s APlus at 989-798-2809, or MrRsAplus.com for more information.

Attention Parents:

  • On the assembly on Friday, February 28th, your student received their re-registration and class schedule for your approval and signature. Please complete and return to the office. Deadline to waive the $100 re-registration fee is April 8th.
  • Our next meeting for Post Prom is tonight at 6:30pm, here at VLHS. We are always looking for more parents to join our group to help put on this event for our students!
  • There will be a Parent Softball Meeting tonight, 5:00 in the RC.
  • Good Shepherd Lutheran church invites you to “The Search for Jesus Easter Walk.” Embark on a powerful journey in this interactive drama. Sunday, April 5, 4:30pm, Good Friday, April 10, 4:30pm & 7:00pm. Marketplace doors open 30 minutes prior.
  • The Saginaw Valley Antique Society’s 29th Annual Antique Show will be held Saturday, April 18th, 9am-4pm, here at VLHS. Admission is $4, and lunch & bake goods will be available for purchase sponsored by the Parents Organization.
