Attention Students:

  • Come to room 208 on Wednesday during meeting time to find out more about our STEM Club. Hope to see you then!
  • Please continue to follow all COVID protocol, and wear your masks from and to your car, before, and after school. Thank you!
  • Last spring when we had Student Council Executive Board elections, we did not have candidates run for the position of secretary. Therefore, we will be having a special election to fill this position. If you are interested in running you must have at least one year of student council experience and a GPA of 2.0 or higher. See Mrs. Schwarz if you are interested.
  • The ZAPS SAT and ACT test prep seminars offered each spring at VLHS are now being offered virtually all year. Go to https://www.doorwaytocollege.org/ if you are interested.
  • Anyone interested in joining pep club, there will be a meeting Wednesday during meeting time in room 211. We will be electing a new president and vice president. If you are interested in running for either of these positions, see Mrs. Schwarz by Tuesday.
  • Student Council meeting tomorrow, 1st hour in the RC.
  • Fall baseball meeting today after school in the gym. Interested players should definitely make a point of being at this meeting. 20 minute meeting.

Attention Parents:

  • Please use the front driveway to drop off and pick up your student. Or if you prefer, you can park in the parking lot and have them come to your vehicle. Please be cautious and safe, as our students are walking to their cars.

  • Labor Day Weekend — no classes Friday, September 4th & Monday, September 7th.
  • The Parent Organization’s annual Mum sale will be held here at VLHS on October 2, 2020. They are $10 per plant, and will be sold from 1:00pm until sold out.
  • If your student needs to take medication at school, a release form needs to be on file in the office. Prescription drugs are kept under lock and key in the office. The office does not have medication to dispense unless it is their own and brought from home. A signed form needs to be on file for both prescription and non/prescription. Forms are available in the office.
