Attention Students:

  • All girls basketball players we will be having a 15 minute informational meeting on Wednesday May 30th during meeting time (8:42) in the Gym.   • All boys interested in trying out for soccer next year, there will be an important informational meeting on Wednesday May 30th during meeting time in Mr. Guenther's room. See you there.
  • All boys basketball players planning on playing summer basketball please remember to turn in your sign up sheets and payment to Coach Erdmans Mailbox in the front office by Friday June 1st. Also, please remember to get on the summer basketball Remind group as that is very important as well. Go Chargers!!
  • If you did not receive your complimentary Water Bottle in honor of the 40th anniversary and 40,000 bottle fills, please come to the office!
  • Attention all those enrolled in AP English Language and Composition for next year. There will be a brief meeting in Miss Weilnau's room at after school on Wednesday, May 30th to discuss your summer homework. If you absolutely cannot attend, please see Miss Weilnau for more information.
  • What do breakfast and saving lives have in common? Students for Life! Every Tuesday during May, Students for Life is having a waffle and pancake breakfast. Pancakes and waffles will be $1.75 each. And what to do with the extra quarter? Help us solve the greatest question: Which is better, pancakes or waffles? Everything starts at 8am!
  • Community Village is looking for volunteers to assist with their Strawberry Festival on June 19. They need people to run games, take tickets, supervise the bounce house, etc. The time frame is from 3 - 8:30 pm and includes a free dinner. This amazing camp is coming back to Michigan this summer and St. Lorenz Christian Citizenship Ministries is offering financial assistance for LCMS high school students who wish to attend.   • The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary offers a boating safety course with the assistance of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. The course will be held at the MDNR office on 225 East Spruce Street in St. Charles, on June 9th. The cost is $30 if you register and pay by June 1st.   • SVSU and its Sister University in Tokushima, Japan are looking for 9 host families who might be willing to give one weekend of their time to house 2 students on the weekend of August 4-August 6 (Saturday morning, the 4th through Monday morning, the 6th). There will be 16 high school students, ages 15-18, along with two teachers, who are very eager to learn about our American ways. We believe this will be a wonderful opportunity to cultivate international friendship and learning from each other.
