VL Welcomes New Faculty for Upcoming Year

Three teachers have joined the Valley Lutheran family for the 2018-19 school year.

Patrick Winningham (bottom left) is a new addition to the social studies department. He is originally from Ray, Michigan. He has been teaching at Lutheran High School of Indianapolis since 2007.  He has a Master of Education from Indiana Wesleyan and a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia Ann Arbor.

Pastor Michael Stahl (top right) will lead the theology department. Stahl was the pastor at Trinity St. James in Munger since 2012. He has a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Secondary Education from Western Michigan University.

Pastor Timothy Behnke (top left) will join the theology department on a part-time basis. He has been the pastor at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church of Marion Springs since 2013.  He received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He earned a Bachelor degree from Iowa State in electrical engineering.

“We are grateful that God has again provided the teachers we need,” said Executive Director John Brandt. “Each of our teachers brings special skills and experiences that will bring something important to our students.”
