Attention Students:

  • Those interested in helping with Tech for the spring play should meet in Mrs. Blake’s room on Wednesday during meeting time. Tech includes: Hair, makeup, lights, and sound. Anyone hoping to work with the set/set build should talk to Miss Stahlecker.

  • Attention Juniors & Seniors! Prom tickets are being sold during lunches from Wednesday, April 10th through Tuesday, April 16th for $50. The Prom Theme is The Great Gatsby.

  • Booster club needs your help to support the spring sports concessions! Please volunteer to help make this season a success.   • Due to construction, the Graduation Ceremony this year will be held at the Temple Theater.
  • The VLHS Parent Organization is excited to be partnering with Abele’s Greenhouse for a Spring flower sale! Each 10” basket will be sold for $25 each, or 3 for $70. We will also be offering a $20 fundraising card, with an expiration date of June 15th. Pre-orders will be collected April 18-May 6 via Sign Up Genius or through the VLHS office. The baskets will be available for pick up at VLHS on Friday, May 17 from 2:30pm – 5:30pm, and Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 9am – noon (or until flowers are gone).   • Good Shepherd Lutheran Church invites you to “The Search for Jesus Easter Walk”, Sunday, April 14th at 4:30pm, and Good Friday, April 19th at 4:30 & 7:00pm. Embark on a powerful journey in this interactive drama. A group of travelers has entered a quest to find Jesus of Nazareth. Join them as they travel through ancient Capernaum and search for the Jesus they have heard about. Come 30 minutes before the performance and enjoy a reenactment of Jerusalem’s marketplace filled with crafts and music. There is no charge for the performance but a free will offering is appreciated.
