Attention Students:

  • If you will be going to the March for Life, please notify the office.
  • Did you know? STEM is present in our daily lives, from the technology we use to the food we eat. You should sign up for We Are Innovators! Talk to Mr. Cooper for more info.
  • There’s still time to sign up for We Are Innovators! ‘We Are Innovators’ is a service learning program sponsored by Dow and WE Schools that aims to inspire young people to address global challenges through STEM solutions. Come to another informational meeting after school today in room 106 to find out more! There will be FOOD!
  • The READ Association has a 12-week family literacy program starting the week of 1/20/20 on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:50 at Guided Grace Family Counseling, Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00 at Sherwood Elementary, and Thursdays 4:00-5:30 at Francis Reh Academy. We are looking for volunteers to come to one or many sessions to help students with literacy activities while their parents are being instructed. Contact the READ Association at 989-755-8402 for more information.
  • What? Sadie Hawkins Dance (typically girls ask guys). Who? 9-12th grade (remember, people from others schools need a slip from the office!). When? Saturday, January 25th from 8-11pm. Where? Valley Lutheran High School. Theme? Glow In The Dark (with black lights). Wear? Casual Neon or White. Cost? $8
  • Reminder: The deadline for personalized name stamping for your 2020 yearbook is January 26th. Forms are available in the office.
  • St. Lorenz will be hosting a Night to Shine Prom for special needs guests (of all ages!) on February 7th, from 5-9pm. They are looking for buddies for their Honored guests.   • Post Prom Party is hosting a 2020 Fundraiser at BWW on Wednesday, February 12th, at the BWW on Tittabawassee Road. Coupons are available in the office or on our Facebook page.

It is the largest annual fundraiser supporting an exceptional Christian high school education.   • Desserts needed! One popular auction item is Dessert of the Month. Twelve volunteers deliver dessert to the winning bidder from March 2020 to February 2020. We are in need of a few more volunteers. Delivery is a mutually agreeable day between the baker and winning bidder. A dessert to serve about 12 is standard and the baker’s choice.   • CrossRoads Counseling Ministries is sponsoring a FREE, Frankenmuth Area Caregiver Support Group, that will meet every 4th Thursday of each month beginning January 23, 2020, 11am to noon, at Winter Village, Harmony Hall, 255 Mayer Road, Frankenmuth. Brian Wilson, Licensed Professional Counselor, will be the facilitator. Open to the public!
