Be the Light!

August 24th, 2023

The 2023-2024 school year is officially underway!!

Our theme this year is “Be The Light” based on Matthew 5:14-16.

In our opening chapel Mr. DeWees shared words from Genesis 1 reminding students of the creation of light, and that the source of all light is God. The things of this world that we know as light, like the sun and the moon, are tools that God made to shine the light that He created. In the same way that the moon dimly reflects the sun, we reflect God’s light as we interact in this world.

How do we be this light? From John 13: 34, “Love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.”

Chargers – have a great year and may God grant you daily opportunities to shine HIS light!
