Homecoming at Valley Lutheran is just around the corner and we are excited to invite alumni, friends, and the VL family to celebrate with us!

Events throughout the Week:
Sunday, Sept. 10
- Valley Lutheran will host a special presentation by Chalkguy Ben Glenn (https://www.simplybenglenn.com/) that will be open to the community. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the VLHS gym, doors open at 6 p.m. We invite you to share about this opportunity with your church and grade school communities!
Throughout the Week
- Students will enjoy a variety of dress-up days.
Monday, Sept. 11
- VL students will be treated to a special daytime assembly from the Chalkguy Ben Glenn.
- The boys varsity soccer team will host Hemlock in their homecoming match at 7 p.m. under the lights on the football field.
Wednesday, Sept. 13
- The Varsity volleyball team will take on St. Louis in their Homecoming match-up. Game time is approx. 7:00 p.m. (this is an update from the originally scheduled 6:30 time!)
Friday, Sept. 15
- The school day will conclude with the Homecoming Pep Rally.
- The Grand Tailgate begins at 4:45 p.m. in the grass area between the in and out driveways. We invite everyone to come tailgate – there will be a central ‘Valley’ tent where anyone is welcome to enjoy food and fellowship! (Interested in hosting a tent for the tailgate? Contact Amy Cooper at acooper@vlhs.com for more information!)
- The Homecoming Parade kicks off at 5:45 p.m. and will feature class floats and the presentation of the Homecoming Court. (The parade route is along the edge of the parking lot.)
- Football kick-off is at 7 p.m. versus Nouvel with the crowning of Homecoming King and Queen at halftime.
Saturday, Sept. 16
- Homecoming festivities conclude on Saturday with the Homecoming Dance beginning at 8 p.m. in the school gym.
